These benefits will be added to copay only services when using a McLeod Provider.

*Please note that the High Deductible plan is eligible for copay only program after deductible has been met.  Deductible must be met first per HDHP rules.

Benefits That Will Continue in 2025

Flat Rate for Medical Treatment obtained at McLeod

The medical plan covers several common services and procedures with only a flat rate (copay) paid by the member if the service is received at a McLeod Health provider and facility. No additional deductible or coinsurance will be required by covered employees and their families for these services. Covered services include:

  • Basic Labs: $50 copay
  • X-rays and Ultrasounds: $100 copay
  • MRIs and CT’s: $200 copay
  • Maternity/birth related charges: $500 copay for mother’s inpatient stay and delivery

*Certain exclusions may apply, 2023 SPD plan document will contain details.

Emergency Transport Insurance Coverage through MASA

Emergency Transport Insurance Coverage is available through MASA to cover emergency Air Ambulance or Ground Ambulance services and more.  See plan options for Emergent Plus Plan and Platinum Plan.

High Deductible Health Plan

The High Deductible Health Plan is excluded from all co-pays.

Fertility Treatment

The medical plan covers fertility treatment for covered employees and covered spouses. The fertility benefit will support families’ efforts with treatment and clinical guidance. This covered treatment has a $25,000 maximum lifetime benefit.

Free On-site Clinic Visit

The Employee On-site Health Center office visit is free for all employees as well as any dependents covered on the McLeod Health medical plan.

*Additional services received may incur a charge.

FreeWill

In partnership with the McLeod Foundation we offer FreeWill an online platform that allows all users to develop a legally valid Will at no cost. FreeWill allows employees to successfully complete a valid Will, for free, in less than 30 minutes.

Ex-Program

The Ex-Program is a tobacco cessation program to help employees and dependents stop using tobacco products. The program is 100% digital and each participant will receive personalized support from a dedicated coach and the ability to have live support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
