Medical and RX Coverage Changes

For 2023, the copay for a tier 2 (non-McLeod) primary care visit will increase from $35 to $50. There will also be an increase to the deductible and out of pocket maximums for tier 2 (non-McLeod) providers and facilities. All services and treatment received at a McLeod Health provider and facility will see no change in coverage from 2022.

For 2023, the McLeod Health prescription formulary will remain unchanged from 2022. There will be an increase in the tier 2 retail (non-McLeod) pharmacy deductible from $100 in 2022 to $200 in 2023. The out-of-pocket maximum for prescriptions will be included in the medical out-of-pocket maximum for 2023. Maintenance medication will continue to be required to be filled at a McLeod pharmacy.

Please keep an eye on this page for additional information. We will be updating the page as coverages and plan documents are finalized.
